About the Producer

You could say Roberto Rodriguez is a gourmand turned vigneron. Owner of two specialty food shops in Ourense as well as a wine shop and distribution, he knows a thing or two about Galician wine and food. From the best artisan cheeses and meats to the finest wines. It was his love for the latter that brought him back to his native town of Rairos to plant the highest vineyards in Ribeira Sacra, more specifically in the Bibei sub region, immersing himself in the intricacies of viticulture and perfecting his winemaking techniques.

Roberto's meticulous attention to detail ensures that each grape is hand-selected, and every step of the winemaking process is carefully monitored to achieve the highest quality. Beyond the winemaking, Roberto possesses an exceptional creative flair. He constantly pushes the boundaries of sustainable farming practices, natural winemaking, and experimenting with unique varietals, blends, and aging techniques.

Without a doubt Adega Entre Cantos is Roberto’s passion project. He takes immense pleasure in sharing his knowledge, whether it's recommending the perfect wine pairing or providing insights into the winemaking process. His wines are a true reflection of his personality - friendly, creative, and undeniably unforgettable.

The winery (which is around 2.5ha in the parishes of Rairos and Torbeo at elevations of 20m up to 750m in the municipality of Ribas de Sil on pebble/slate/clay soils) takes its name from the Portuguese word "adega," which means cellar, and "entre cantos," which translates to "between songs." This name embodies the spirit of the winery, where the harmonious combination of nature, craftsmanship, and Roberto's expertise result in wines that sing with flavor and character.
