Entre Os Ríos, a family-owned winery on the southwest coast of Galicia, that creates aromatic, textured examples of this classic varietal that are utterly brimming with character. The estate is located in Barbanza e Iria (VdT status in 2007), which is north of Rias Baixas about 3km from the coast, with terraced vineyards of old vines on decomposed granitic soils very similar to the southern neighbor. José’s tiny cellar is full of stainless steel and old oak and he makes beautifully clean, expressive wines in very small quantities.
